Information and advice for travelling abroad

Travel vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel, please complete our online travel form.

A travel vaccination nurse will assess the form and then contact you via telephone to discuss your travel needs. It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 8 weeks before you travel - Any travel risk assessments submitted with a departure date of less than 8 weeks away will not be actioned by our travel vaccination nurse.

If your departure date is less than 8 weeks away, you will need to contact a Private travel clinic for further assistance.

Further information

Before you travel, it’s important to find out whether you will need vaccinations for the country you’re visiting. If you are signed up for online services via the NHS App, you can view your current immunisation history. Following this, if you require vaccinations, please contact your local private travel clinic.
